I have repaired many 360's and a few ps3 but this one is baffling to me. I have a 40 gig fat system. I repaired the YLOD and have been playing it for a while now. I shut it down with the game in last night and this morning started it up. The game does not show up in the menu. The disc will also not eject. I have tried to force eject by holding the eject button for 15 secs to no success. The blue light is on so it knows something is in there. I do not even get a beep when i press the eject button. Anyone have any info?

Have you ever replaced the dvd drive in a PS3?

You have to manually remove the disc by taking the bluray drive apart. It is probably stuck. Just take the two screws holding the mini motor in the bluray drive out and push the two mechanical arms back into place. Left arm all the way up and right arm all the way down. Put everything back and you should be good to go.

BTW...the way you "force" it to eject is to unplug it, hold power and eject, then plug it in while still holding both...the fan will run at max speed and the disk will eject (or it will if there is any way that it can).
