have had recent prob with console freezing after time will an hard drive upgrade help and can I use an external harddrive with ps3 without too much drama? Any info will help.

gunnado2 you can connect an external HDD to the sata board on the PS3,you have a couple of long ugly leads trailing from the side of your console,but it will give you upto 2GB for everything including games and saves.
