Sorry for the long awaited reply busy weekend. But yeah all my PSN (Downloadable) games work fine. Games that dont work are MGS4, Tekken6, Street FighterIV, Uncharted1/2, GTAIV, Killzon2 & Resistance2. The only game that does work is MKvDC Which i find strange. This is just baffling me.

If you are getting the 80010006 error, it usualy means that you need to backup your hard drive, format it to NTFS using a PC, then format it using the PS3 and restore all your stuff. This is usualy the result of a failed install of an system update or a game update. This could (possibly) also be due to a memory error, in which case it would probably come back quickly.

you not have to reformat to ntfs. just back up the hhd and reformat with the ps3. if the data is corrupt they are gone so you may try just deleting the data so you dont have to reformat.

Unfortunately, the format utility on the PS3 does not actualy do a format, unless you do something that forces it to; like formating with NTFS. I have done a format, and been left with all my gamesaves and mp3s afterwards!

Killerbug: Im not a very technically minded guy i know the basics but thats about it. I dont even no what NTFS means lol, but if it works i'll certainly give it a go.I was thinking: If change the original Hard Drive in the system with a new one & start from scratch ie delete all game saves & game data would that solve the prob?
