Hi i need some help please.
I recently upgraded my ps3 hd from the stock 60gb to a new seagate 500gb. I wanted to test the hd before i copied all my files over so i formatted it from the ps3 utilities. I tried to put my original hd back in to copy all my saved games and it won't start. i tried hooking my original up to my pc via a usb/sata cord and it won't detect it. Are all my saved games gone? is there a windows utility to recover my saved games? Is there anyway to reconnect my orginal hd to the ps3 and backup my saved games?
Or am i totally fubared?

Which hdd did you format? the new 500gb or the old 60gb?

I have tested to see what happens when you have more than one hdd formatted on one ps3, and I found you can swap them whenever you want. Though this was on 3.41 not 3.55.
So as long as the hdds are formatted by the ps3 you are gonna put them in, you can swap between them whenever you want.
