hi
i am new to the ps3 hacking and just want some info on jailbreaking my ps3.i am on firmware 4.41.can i jailbreak with that firmware?if yes can someone post a good tutorial for me.also once jailbroke can u go online with a back up game safely.

1st question and the only one i will answer is YES it can be done depending on model number. BUT you will have to open the console up. do some soldering, buy a flasher and chances of killing it. THERE IS NO JAILBREAK unless your on 3.55 or below, Don't fall for scams which state "download this put it in your ps3 and away you go

the soldering part only comes in when the unit is really old with nand chips or you somehow mess it up after flash and in that case you solder only 1 wire... with E3 flasher its probably the only flasher you can use that's is solder less... like this matters anyway... folks who come here and ask about this expect the easy way out.. "put something on usb and you good to go!" after hearing about a flasher and the fact you actually NEED to work on the unit they go like "F**K THIS!" i say only 1 to 5 percent commit to the cause and do it.... here... an idea folks.... sell the current unit you have and buy a pre modded one... and the whole "may i play online using a cfw?" yes you may... if you don't mind a ban afterwards... not many people will risk this... same goes for exclusive games for ps3 that are huge... 20-45gb per game.... not fun if you have slow net....
