just wanted to know can any ps3 distro of linux run games like World of Warcraft and other mmorpg?

I don't think that it's possible, after reading on other sites, because one you would run out of memory pretty quick.

But some of those forums were outdated so I personally don't know if it would be possible or not.

But most likely not, because the PS3 doesn't have enough RAM to do that.

no you cant not enough memory or or processing speed, and isnt wow for mac and pc only, i rly dont know bc i dont play games like that.

no the game is Runes of Magic and i planned to run it with wine emulator...but i guess ram is the problem....tnx for replying...=)

Just running Wine is virtualy impossible with the PS3 memory...nevermind running software inside it.

You need to realize that it doesn't have enough memory! The processor is fine, I mean 8 cores @ 3.2GHz is enough for almost any game!

And World of Warcraft needs jack squat!
