Stop being an idiot please, your offending me with your stupidity.

The answer to your question is No there is not a mod chip that alows you to play PS3 games.
Ill repeat it so perhaps you will maybe, just maybe in some sort of strange manner understand what i and the others are saying.
THERE IS NO MOD CHIP THAT ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY PS3 BACKUPS.

Now im not going to fill a thread with trash talk, if you cant understand that a arning can be deemed as a threat, then thats your problem not mine, i will continue no further in this discussion with you, as your rudeness and disrespect is beyond me.

Oh and a last note, $60 is very cheap for a game, i pay about $70 and im happy to do so, i respect the games developers, i want to pay them for their hard work, if you cant afford a measly $60 for a game, sell your PS3 :)
Stop being a moron please. You're offending us with your ignorance.

I don't want your answer to my question about a PS3 modchip. If you don't know the difference between a threat and a warning, then, blame your upbringing. I'm not going to be your teacher and correct you on this issue again, since you're impolite and uncivil.

And note that $60 a game IS NOT cheap in a bad recession we're in. The proof? Thousands of people scour the net for info on a modchip. You can afford $70 since you're not a full-time worker, you live with mom and dad, they pay for all your rent and electricity, and you don't have to work. Btw, if you were educated on corporate cost analysis, you'd know that the cost of a game runs no more than .50 cents per unit. The companies that charge $60 a game are making billions from you and you don't even know it.

I may be wrong, but you sound like you got no responsibilities in paying rent, bills, mortgage, kid's expenses, etc. People who are hardworking are saving their money and praying they don't lose their jobs. The unemployment rate is in the double digits and climbing. And here you are complaining about the low cost of a game. So, considering the HIGH cost of living now, $20 or $25 per game sounds affordable given the recession.
Just because someone can afford a $60 game, are you automatically assuming that they don't pay rent or a mortgage, have no bills and no kids? Those who are afraid of losing their jobs and afraid to miss a payment generally don't have their minds on how they are going to afford entertainment. If I was going to lose my job, I wouldn't be plotting ways to sneak into a movie theatre for free. I'd have other problems to deal with. But that's just me.

And, I wouldn't buy a car to steal petrol for free, if I could. I'd buy a hybrid car and save money on the fuel. People who are smart do smart things given the recession.
So the smart thing during a recession is to figure out a way to get games and not pay for them? Just give up. You're a walking paradox.

A threat - An act of coercion wherein a negative consequence is proposed to elicit response

Just give it up. You've been rude since the start of this thread. You were politely called out and only displayed more rude behavior, just making people angry.

Oh and you claimed in your first post that you didnt want a flame war, well you started it, by being ignorant and condescending, you dont like someones reply, so you decide to flame them, nice......

Exactly! You finally get it. It's good seeing you made my point. And, it's amazing how those who speak on behalf of others who work usually are the ones who don't work and don't know what responsibility is... amazing.

So, you'd pass up the chance at saving money in a recession while the big game companies milk you dry out of your money? Cut your losses, because you're in a sinking ship of illogic. Just admit you're wrong. You're a lazy dude, lucky to have mommy pay for your little ps3 games. Until you move out of mommy's house, find work and pay bills, you'll never understand life.

You could at least learn how to quote properly, you just actually slagged yourself off lol

emugamer, it's cool that you made my point! You correctly defined what a threat is. Tell marcusita about it.

emugamer just stop while I'm ahead. You've been impolite ever since I started this thread. You made my point and only confused the thread more with your impolite behavior, making people not like you more.

And it's not my fault that you live in a country where recession is rampant, and where the English don't like or want you. It's strange also that you still use our English language, though.

Yes, you do live with mommy.
You don 't have kids or are married. Married people with kids don't waste their time on the net like you. Instead, they dedicate their time to their family. And I do work and I support my wife who doesn't work. I wouldn't stoop to your lazy irish level and have my wife work for me. I think this explains why the english are levels above the irish. Btw, the irish are not anglo-saxon.

Oh, and you read that I don't want people to start a flame war. Well, you started one by being an ignorant and unintellectual. Someone corrects you and you feel small. Then, to compensate, you flame on them... very cultured.

DEFINITIONS:

- warning
1. notice, notification, word, sign.

- threat
1. An expression of an intention to inflict pain, injury, evil, or punishment.

Hmmm... It looks like my warning of reporting people of being kicked out of the forum constitutes "an intention to inflict pain, injury, evil, or punishment."

Ha haha haa.

And you could learn how to use english grammar properly. You also fail to use punctuation correctly also. Ha ha.

Ha ha... look who's talking about confused. You quoted the definitions of the terms 'warning' and 'threat', thus, making you agree with me. By this contradiction, you insult yourself and you don't know it. We all see you have lots of issues. A few of them are: you don't work, your wife works while you sit at home wasting your time insulting people on your computer, and you contradict yourself again and again. Now, get off your drunk and lazy butt and find a job!

omg, this is like the twilight zone :P

No, obla, I didn't agree with any of your logic. You're talking yourself in circles. This could have all ended if you were humble enough in your first response to say "I'm sorry if you misunderstood what I meant" instead of rudely trying to force someone to understand how right you think you are.

If you perceived my posts as impolite, too bad. I was stating facts. Normally I would apologize to someone, but you've done nothing to deserve an apology. You've also made some pretty wild assumptions about me. I did not once assume your circumstances in life. Don't assume I'm a lazy kid who lives at home. I'm 32 with a wife and 3 boys. I have a mortgage. I alone bring in income and my wife stays at home to raise the kids. I make good money and I work 12 hour days and weekends when I need to get my work done. Never had a handout. My parents sent me through college on a Janitors and babysitters salary. I paid them back a large portion of that before I started my own family. I understand a lot more about life than you give me credit for.

I find this whole thread oddly amusing on a Friday evening.

Ha haha haa.
The key word is "or," meaning that the word does not strictly pertain to physical forms of punishment only. Having someone kicked off the forum is a form of punishment. You can take it as:
1. your warning included a threat, or

2 your threat came with a warning.

Either way, a threat was involved.
