Okay in these up coming months, I will be getting a FAT refund check and the first thing to buy on my list is to get a PS3. I currently have a Xbox 360 that's on it's last leg. I have brought it back from the RROD 4 times now. I hate the fact that playing online cost and I have all ways been a sony fanboy but the PS3 was a pocket hitter and everytime I had the money to buy 1 there wouldn't any on store shelves in my town. Srry for the long rant but I'm looking to do my online gaming on PS3 and was wondering what's the best games for online multiplayer? So far I know I'm getting these games.

1) Smackdown VS Raw 2010
2) Call Of Duty Modren Warefare 2
3) Madden 2010

I would recomend to try out at least Killzone 2 And Little Big Planet.

Burnout Paradise is a fun online game, esp. if you have a comfortable headset.

+1 for Uncharted 2. I've been online every night since the end of October.

+1 for Burnout. Doesn't get old and is cheap. You can even buy it from the PSN Store instead of getting a disc. The dlc is great for it and includes a new map, tons of new cars and bikes.

Not sure about Little Big Planet for multiplayer. It's lots of fun single player and creator mode can have you hooked for hours upon hours. Multiplayer enjoyment depends on if you have friends lined up who have PS3's. It might be difficult to find random people to help you with the stock game levels. And for user created content, it's tough to find someone on them unless the level is new or popular. That's what I found to be the case.

Note for PSN games:
Make sure to read the game sharing thread in this forum...Paradise city is about $60 if you buy all the DLCs, but it is only $12 if you share it with 4 friends. I think there are only 4 games on the PSN that are not shareable.
