I'll start off by saying its a PS3 Slim and I am aware of the current issue with PSN as of yesterday and today, but do not think this is the same circumstance.
I can sign in and create a connection using Easy > Automatic. But I cannot play ANY games online. It will kick me from the games or put me in a map all by myself (i.e., GTA4. Uncharted 2)
I have tried everything I possibly could to get this thing working.
FACTS:
Using Wireless Connection (wired isnt possible atm due to location)
Router: Netgear CGD24G
PS3 System Software v3.15
I have attempted assigning a Static IP Address, Opening Ports, trying multiple Primary/Secondary DNS Addresses (4.2.2.2/4.2.2.3) (208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220) and the ISP prim/sec, Setting the PS3 MAC Address on my router setup, Disabling/Enabling UPnP, Disabled Media Server, restarting Router, PC, PS3.
When it gets to Test Connection, Internet Connection: Failed DNS Error 80710102 (807101FF). When we set it up Easy > Automatic, it finds it right away, 100% signal strength...but cannot play online.
I have looked through multiple forums and I can't even post on the PS3 Forums because its been crashing and down for maintenance all day.
Any additional assistance would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. My neighbor uses the same ISP and his router is in the same location and he has perfect connection with his Slim.
