ps 3 video problem, help!

i've been playing my ps3 about 8 months, now im having some video problem
somtimes when im playing a game, a few short white lines comes, it goes for 2 to 3 seconds and comes normal again, is it from the console, or its some kind of transmission through the power of the tv. please help me out, i got a few months since my gurantee ends

What kind of connection are you using? HDMI? Component? Composite? SCART?

well im using an rgb scart that gives you more clear audio and picture, im using an sdtv. can it be a ground looping?

I'd try switching to a composite cable to give it a try. It sounds like its the cable or the scart input on the tv.
