So here's my story. Hopefully somebody can help me.

I purchased a 120 gb PS3 slim model not too long ago to replace my 60gig fat. I deactivated my PSN account on the fat for both game and video. Transferred all my information to the slim. Deleted all games, save data, and accounts off the fat. And procedure to play some disc based games on my slim. Not too long ago while I was at work my roomate (the new owner of the fat) noticed I was signed onto my PSN. Since he was my roomate he could clearly see my PS3 off next to the tv. So I proceded to reset my password incase somebody found out and then figured it was over. Went to play some Fat Princess and received a copyright infringment error. I went to check if the slim was active on my PSN and hold and behold it was not. Weird enough though I was albe to activate the system for video.

When I try activating my system for game on my PSN it claims there is already 5 ps3's active on my account. How this is possible I have no idea because I have only signed into my PSN on 3 seperate systems including the fat and slim model at my house. So I immediatly call Sony and speak to Mike. Mike refused to help me. He implied this was my fault and i just have to eat the loss. Trying to get this issue rectified I ask for a supervisor and speak to Tyler. Same responses. Tyler states this is the "risk you take when activating on friend's playstion 3's" and that "i shouldn't be game sharing", but I don't share my games. I try climbing higher and ask to speak to Tyler's supervisor and he then puts me on hold. After a couple minutes Tyler comes back on the line with a simple "no they will not deactivate the systems on your account." According to Tyler I used my PSN yesterday which to me makes no sense. I worked all day and didn't even turn the system on. It's clear to me someone is using my account without my knowledge but Mike and Tyler refuse to help me with this issue. Is there anyone that can help me?

All you can really do is keep calling Sony, and try different people with non dick attitudes. Best of luck.

I know you can deactivate systems yourself...I just forget where you do it. Change both your password and email account, that should prevent others from using it.

you deactivate it the same way you activate it. sony should have no problem deactivateing any of your accounts on all the ps3s that it is on. i had them do it with all of mine and my sons. had them do it many times. but that also was cuase i had to return a few ps3s to them and i could not deactivate them myself becouse of the yld. and that was my fualt.
