I'm new to this gamesharing thing. To me it seems like the receiver has less risks because they don't have to use their own credit cards to purchase. But whats the downside for being the receiver?? Do we have to make a new account every time we want to download a game from someone? And we're only allowed to make 16 accounts on the PS3 right? So that means we can only GameShare 16 times?? Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks in advanced!

I think the limit of PSN accounts assigned to one system is even less than 16.

As for the security, you are advised to remove all billing, shipping, etc information from the account before you share it.

thanks for the reply, but I was actually asking about the risks for the receiver. I won't be the one using a credit card so I'm not worry about that. But do I have to make a new account for every game??

How do you intend paying for games, in order to share, you must also have games of your own.

You can have 16 accounts on your PS3, that has nothing to do with the amount of games you have.

When you share, you share account, not game, so as you would have one account slot, you can only share that account with four other people.
The only risk is getting your account stolen.

Well I have a group and we're all after the same game.. so basically only one of us has to use a credit card. I'm still confused with making a new account..? Do I have to switch account everytime I want to play this game? Don't I just download it to my HDD and thats it?

You can if you wish buy the games all on the one account, if you have say 16 accounts, you wont have to switch to each one to play a game.

If your in a group, you wont be able to trade that game with people outside the group.

You don't have to switch accounts to play games.

I have several gameshares from friends...I still have the accounts on my system, but I never login to them, and I don't even have passwords for most of them anymore, as the friends have changed the passwords to keep me from accidentaly logging them out.
