Read from USB HDD from BD-J?

Does anyone know if its possible to read from a USB HDD from BD-J running on a disc?

If so what is the path to the USB HDD?
The disc is /VR/

I'm a little confused on what you are trying to do? Like what do you mean from BD-J? Like is the system a Japanese Console? Usually for reading off the HDD, you just go to whatever tab you need (i.e. Music, Photo, and Video).

BD-J is a java menu on a blu-ray disc.
You can run java apps off a BD-R disc in the ps3 on the game os.

BD-J was blocked from running of external devices a few firmares back,i think the only possible way is via Blu Ray.
