I didn't know where to put this thread so I'm just adding it here. If I want to access my PS3 movies and music on my PSP through remote play if I was at work with a wifi connection does my PS3 have to be on all day at home? I just wanted to ask before I try it. Thanks

It has to be at least in standby mode.
Slim is always in standby when powers on, if using an older version, the power switch must be on for the unit to be in standby mode.
You can turn your PS3 on an off via remote play as well, so when your finished streaming you can turn it off without worrying. ;-)
