Hi everyone , first topic here in AfterDawn ,
I have a PSP-1000 with the 5.03 firmware and a PS3 slim with the 3.41 (latest as of 16-08-2010) firmware. Both consoles are European.
I configured both consoles for remote play but for some reason , when i try to connect to the PS3 via Private Network , the PSP says it can't encounter the PS3 and to check if Remote Play is selected on PS3 ( this happened with it selected , the text on the PS3 even blinked quickly as soon as the notice appeared on the PSP).
Does this happen because of the outdated firmware on the PSP (the firmware is dated 2008)? Or is it other reason?
Thanks.

Im registered on the European PSN. I PWN PS HOME PERVS!!!!!
Feel free to add me but if you do please also add my other PSN (in case i get suspended or banned) : NunoFYouNo97

i don't know want the problem be but i have a 6.30 PSP and i want to downgrade it to 1.50 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCsFiWO03d0 don't work for me. i don't see how there should be a problem on remote play unless you have not got PSP and PS3 to know each other by USB.

1 - That didn't work for me either , still with the 5.03 firmware. Actually i think that is to reset the settings and not to downgrade , from what i read on the video comments that is more to unbrick a PSP.
2 - I registered the two consoles with an USB cable , just like its supposed to. But now with the PSP reset it no longer has the PS3 registered so i'll see if its working now.
Also a trick i tried which seemed to work but it didn't : Try to download something off PS Store , put the downloading in 2nd plan (you know , to download stuff while you do another things in your PS3) and try to do the Remote Play process. It'll say on the PS3 "Remote Play in progress" and it'll say on the PSP that it's loading. But it unfortunately gave an error , and the PS3 got back to the text it appears when you select it.

Well i don't have a video cam so i can't film it. I can give an update : my PSP , even after the setting reset , still has the problem. I'm guessing that it still doesn't work with the trick either.

from http://www.psphero.com/index.html Then it's better to correct your sentence to : "i want 5.00 M33 v4" , there's no 5.04 official and for that matter custom firmware.

You just have to edit it your topic , there's an option of course.
Well lets stop with the offtopic. Is there any way to solve the problem?
