Hi I have my PS3 set up to my Philips 32Inch HDTV through HDMI and I've also got my stereo hocked up to my HDTV which the sound comes through for everything

the problem started today but I've had this set up for about 3months and its been perfect for TV ps3 games music PC and even videos on the ps3 and blu-ray movies

on all of them the sound is great but for some reason now the sound go really quite and I can only just about hear it the funny thing is tho its just on games weather there on my hard drive or on disc I played music which is on the hard drive and that's fine so is the videos and blu-ray movies so its just games

why has this happened I've fully disconnected everything and reconnected it all but it didn't work

i've been looking on google but can't find anything on this matter so it seems i am the 1st one this has happend to (lmfao what are the odds)

not really sure what to do now apart from call sony and see what they have to say about it

o-yeah i forgot to say the sound comming through my tv its fine on everything its just the sound for games through my stereo thats gone quite mmmmmm i wonder what it could be

I've just done some faffing about by this I mean I switched HDMI sockets and still quite sound on games I went back to the old av component and it was perfect on everything including games

so would I be right thinking it might be my HDMI cable but if so why would music videos on hard drive and blu-movies be fine but not on games

remember this is through my stereo not the TV the sound from the TV is fine

i also called sony and they not got a clue what it could be they asked me to do some settings tried them didn't work

all this just because i downloaded dirt 2 demo

any help or ideas would be kool
