i have been reading about this,,still cant get a clear picture,i have the hermes files to spoof the ps3 to 3.50,,i have the psjailbreak,do you just put the files onto a usb drive and plug it in and start the ps3 in jailbreak mode??i like thinks simple,getting to old to think,,

Correct, once i updated to the hermes you are referring to, when i go to my firmware version, it says 3.50. So once you update, to my knowledge it just works.

Although, i really have not seen any advantages so far. As newer games still require patching or tweaking the files to get it to work in my experience.

I would like to know also though, if anyone knows, is this spoofing supposed to make it where higher firmware games are supposed to "just work" without editing the files and such? Anyone know or played with this much?
