is it possible on a jail-broken ps3 to play ps2 roms off of a usb drive? i have the mgs4 40gig.

not sure as well it is possible coz ive read the first gen was emulator hardware , 2nd gen was software so as far as i know, anything is possible.

No you can not. If you had a BC unit PS2 mode doesn't even work in jailbreak mode. They never made a MGS4 40 gig. Did you mean a MGS4 80 gig?

no mines this one CECHH01MG, they made 2 bundles 1 with the 80gb and a 40gb.(mine was bought in Germany)came with mgs4 limited edition. here it is http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Metal-Solid-Kojima-Bundle-3/dp/B001IZIAK8
