There are always torrents.
And if the recent news about the tb and cobra payloads being decrypted is true, maybe we'll get new cfw.
Though as others have said, I'm pretty sure the encrypted payloads were found some time ago, but we still dont see new releases on cfw.
We can wait around and see, but I do think that the ps3 scene really is pretty much dead; all we hear about are works in progress, but then anyone can claim the same and not release anything.

$ony and EA already have in a way, when you buy a game you get a online code, that code can only be used once with one console. IF you have a 2nd console in another room you will have to purchase another online code, which will be cheaper than buying a new copy but still extra cost. Offline play wont be affected.
But this is what most people do not realise, what exactly are so many gamers buying when they buy a game? It's not a physical game, it's a license, and the game publishers dont want you selling on that license to another person without them getting a slice of the pie!

A little of topic but you can use the same Online pass on 2 consoles. Log into the account that redeemed it and download it again. Think of it kind of like a gameshare. After that license is downloaded then any other account can also use it.

My 3.55 ps3 just dies and sadly I do not miss it much. The ps3 was the worst for homebrew (so far) this generation. Sadly I can'tt seem to step away from the PS3 scene after all of the awesome people I have met.
On Topic: Please do not get me started on True Blue. It is a plague to the scene. There are eboots compatible with it that are coming out regulary, but charging people for something created with a stolen SDK is wrong.

id really like it if i could get assistance on where you find the games and eboots to download. i too have trouble finding these torrents. Just a decent site (or even keywords that i might be omitting) would be helpful. Thanks
