Uncharted 2. Please help!

A strange thing is happening. Uncharted2 is not loading for me the Chalice just keeps spinning & nothing happens. I play Uncharted2 the whole time & never had a problem until today. All my other games load as normal, So its not a Disc Reading problem. But the stranger thing is Uncharted is not loading either. So thats two naughty dog titles not loading. Does anybody know what the problem is. I appreciate any help.

You can delete the Game Data (not Game Save Data) and make it load the game again. Might get it going.

I have another problem! the new1.04 Update won't install for me. When i hit X, please wait comes up on the screen 5sec later i get 3beeps from the PS3 & the screen stays black. I deleted the game data again (As it worked B4 tnx glassd). Tried installing1.04 again but the same bloody thing happens. I have no Idea WhatSoEver as to what the Problem is? Its driving me mad!!! As before any help on this matter will be much obliged. Thank you.

It appears that you are not alone. I cant view Game Sites from here but it seems that there are plenty of complaints about this going on right now.

Really? Naughty Dog would want to get there act together wouldn't they. I must try out other sites & get more feedback. In the meantime if you hear anything let us know.....Wont you? Tnx man.

After about the 12th time of trying it finally installed for me tis' morning, But im still not happy every so often multiplayer games just freeze right before they start. Maybe the problem will sort its self out over the next couple of days i dont know ill have to wait & see. But yeah you were right alot of people are having problems with uncharted2.

Good thing that you were not one of the ones that the update was intended for. Seams that a minor amount of people were having a problem getting into a match. The 1.04 fixed the problem for those people but set their rank back to 1.

Gladly no! Im level 53 at the moment & i wouldn't like to be back at 1 it took alot of time & effort to get there. Anyway i was playing it for a while today & all seems good so far (Fingers Crossed though).

I installed 1.04 on Wednesday night and was not effected. Was it supposed to fix the problem as soon as installed, or were they just prepping for a mass rollout? I was going to fire it up when I got home tonight. I hope I'm not reset. I spent 2 solid months getting to lvl 50. Took a break for most of January and finally got my special 51 emblem. I'd be royally pissed if I was reset. The reason why I am worried is because for 1 day, I actually started getting the synching/connection error they were trying to fix. It only happened for 1 day, and it was odd because it was after 2 solid months of having no connection problems at all. Then it went away.

Im just about to give up on uncharted2. The same thing just keeps happening. The problem from my 1st post is back again (wont load for me) & even if it does load i get to the Single/Multiplayer screen & it just freezes (i might get one or two games) & if i delete the game data again (Which i dont really want to do) I know i'll have problems installing 1.04 again. I wasn't one of the people 1.04 was intended for so i really shouldn't be having any problems. If it keeps up im selling the thing.
