using external hdd for more than 1 system?

Can you use the same external hdd for lets say, ps3 backups, wii backups, and on your pc for backups?

To be able to use with the ps3 it must be formatted under fat32
fat32 can then be read by ps3 and pc
I am not sure if wii can read fat32 hdds as i do not own one, quick google search says yes.

So yeah you can use 1 hhd on more than 1 system

Thanks bigo93. I have a 2 tera hd on my pc. I just checked and its ntfs. I read somewhere that ps3 could only go up to 750 gig hd but that may be just for internal? I guess i will buy maybe a 500 gig external hd for my ps3 and wii and format it fat32?
