Hi i was going to buy a ps3 because the price isnt too bad now and i would make decent use of the bluray player aswell.

I was just wondering else i can do on it. can i play downloaded games straight from a hardrive? can i play ps1/2 or even nintendo emulators?

Also would i have to buy a chip of somesort aswell or is it al accomplishable with firmware changes?
