Just got a faulty eu launch ps3. Fixed it with the heat gun fix.

Now I dont want it to overheat so was thinking about a cooling fan to add to it.
Dont want one which will need an extra plug socket, but I also dont want one thats loud.

Seen the myko intercooler but seems a bit too loud.

Any recommendations?

You could just do my mod with a potentiometer...it is louder than stock, but you can set the fan to run within your needs, and it offers you the ability to set the fan to a higher speed if you ever encounter a game that makes the system get extra warm.
