What am I doing wrong?? I'm having problems streaming my ripped Blu Ray movies to my PS3. I'm using TSmuxer and leaving them in .m2ts format. They are on my PC which I have connected thru my home network. For some reason, whenever I try to watch them on my PS3 I get a "data corrupted" error. Should I be converting them to another format??? I thought .m2ts was a compatible format.

Yup it means the format is not supported. Or you havent done something right in converting it.

Try Tversity on your PC, its better at streaming unsupported media to the ps3.

I;ve hoping the cfw for the ps3 starts to gain some steam soon, and hopefully someone will then make a media player which support all the popular codecs which sony couldnt be bothered paying for.

"it only does everything" like hell it does! It does less less each year!

You should also try ps3 media server, to me it is the best server for the ps3 and it convert just about all unplayable formats on da fly during streaming.

They both do teh same thing, but tversity is better supported, cant even remember the last time ps3mediasever was updated, last post on website was back in february.

But these 2 are what most ppl use, so up to you to test which one you prefer.

Actually, I'm using Tversity. That's why I don't understand why I keep having problems.

Ok, here's what I'm doing. Let me know if I'm missing something.
1. Open Blu Ray in Tsmuxer
2. de-select all files except the video file
3. check the "demux" option and click "start muxing"
4. open up video file that I just made
5. put checks in the boxes for the new video and the desired audio file
6. Click "start muxing"
7. done...right?
