Me and my cousin want to play over XBSlink, he lives no more then 30 houses down. We both have a copy of the game obviously and both have XBSlink 0.8.5.0.
We both accurately;
1. Capture Device is set up as Local Area Network - hence the Ethernet connection.
2. Enabled Special MAC list and added the MAC address
3. Entered our Local IP
Everything is port forwarded, works, we can connect to each other and talk in the chat, no problem.
My cousin starts up the game and created a LAN game, "Capture the Diamond", and I try to search for it, can't find it, thats the problem. So has anyone been able to get this game to work and how ?
And if you want as an added incentive recommend FPS or Adventure type games for us to try out over XBSlink.
Note: I dont want to play over PSN or go to his house and play split screen.
Did you check to see if XBSLINK detected the console of you and your friend?
If it did then you should be able to connect.
Also check your PC's firewall, I had to PF there to make it work even though it seemed to go past the firewall (It wasn't). I used a 360.
