I see today there is a new system update. Can't find any details on it and was wondering if any one with modded consoles had updated and if they have, if its had any affect on the mod.

I updated and it's fine, but doesn't seem to do anything. I think it's another Nintendo attempt at blocking homebrew via stopping Bannerbomb, IMO dont update, no point atm

Maybe the update is something to do with the release of the Motion Plus? Can't find any info on it anywhere.

Shouldn't effect virgin 4.1 users either.

They should still be able to softmod as normal.

So pretty much nothing has changed (effecting homebrew wise) between 4.0 and 4.1 firmware.

So has anyone updated there wii with a softmod and can report it as a sucess?
