1. where do I put my USB loader (currently on my sd Card) on my HDD where my game backups are so I dont need to always have the sd card in.

I have HBC and all that installed but hypothetically....

2. If I had an unmodded wii, what would I need to install to play games off a usb loader? Only 1 or 2 IOS files Im assuming? I ask because I feel like my Wii is now cluttered with useless programs since I wont be using a backup loader, but rather a USB loader. I was thinking of taking my wii back to factory settings and then only installing what I absolutely need.

3. If I had an unmodded wii, and installed a wiikey2 mod chip, would I have any problems with error #002 or anything like that?

You will need a FAT32 partition on the drive as well as the WBFS partition to host the USB loader if you want it on your USB HDD Device.

so I could just make a 20 mb wbfs partition for the loader?

If I use fat32format then it will format the whole drive fat32. If I use WBFS manager, then the whole drive will be wbfs. What do I do?

I have a 60GB FAT32 partition that has Homebrew Apps and videos that the Wii uses.

But I would at least make a 500MB or 1 GB partition so you have room for game covers that the USB loader will download. Granted more then likely you probably will never need that much space for the USB loader but it is better to make sure you have plenty of room.

thanks for telling me that! I would have forgot. How big does each 3d game cover take up?
