3.4e not seing .elf

Hi everyone,
I have a virgin 3.4e Wii, ran ModMii(which updated to 6.1.4) and got the files onto a 2gb SD card formatted as FAT32.

put the SD card in the Wii went the the SD card with the data management system, there was no boot.elf file!! I have tried re formatting to FAT, still no boot.elf.

Can anyone help please... the Wii is seeing the SD as the blocks are appearing but, does not see the Boot file.
