3.4U wii asking for update

Hi,
I have a softmodded 3.4U wii using configurable usb loader to play backup games. When I connected my wii to the internet I was instantly asked to update with support code 75412. Is it safe to update????

That depends. If the update is 4.2 or 4.3, you will have to re-softmod your wii or if you have a modchip, it will lose it's region-free capability. If the update is under 4.2, your mods will be safe.

Updating is rarely necessary, though, update your console at your own risk, & be prepared to re-softmod or lose your region free games if necessary.
