"Now repairing ... DO NOT POWER OFF" error

Turning on the wii this morning presented the above error message immediately before any standard nintendo message - left it for 1hr with no change. Any ideas?

The system has preloader0.29 (which is what I assume is showing the message), HBC V1.0.6, cIOS38_rev14, and Bootmii (installed as IOS not boot2).

UPDATE:- Just found out pressing the 'A' button takes me to the preloader screen where you can select the systemmenu. So can now get past it but somethings still wrong...

Just press the 'A' button then select systemenu. After the 1st this stopped happening on my console
