My Wii has suddenly stopped reading discs, both burnt & original. Nothing works, not even gamecube games. I'm wondering if there is something I can do to fix it.

Soft Mod Wii 4.2u
Ios249
Neogamma7

I decided to update & get rid of everything homebrew related, but after I updated, neogamma 7 was still there, along with homebrew. I tried neogamma 7, which the wii just went black, so I reset it & tried homebrew, which worked just fine. So I tried to reinstall neogamma 7, but my wii just froze. help please?

please please please... I'd like this fixed.

You need to re-accomplish the mod. The fact is, when you updated to 4.2 you've eliminated the mod. Neogamma may still be there, but the cIOS is gone. I suggest you use larry's 4.2 softmod guide.

My wii wont even load the boot.dol anymore... this is very irritating.
