ive been out of the loop on things for quite some time now. i have a NTSC wii and wiikey that both have not been updated since SSBB. i would really like to get back in the swing of things. could someone guide me in the right direction as far as what i need to do in order to play the most recent games these days. links to guides or whatever would be greatly appreciated.

my thread titled informed ppl i needed some help and i felt the specific choice of wording would entice more people to actually open the thread vs saying "omg im noob plz help me update wiikey" or something of that nature. whatever. i changed it anyways. hope that will do?

thanks for your quick response. i did see that thread you linked me to but i dont want a softmod guide. i have a wiikey installed. doesnt that mean i need to update the actual wiikey with some kind of update disk? like i said ive been out of the loop on things for some time so this is kind of like starting over for me. i just want to make sure i dont screw things up and i remember afterdawn being a great, trustworthy source for these sort of things.

in a nutshell i basically want to know if i have to:

-update my wiikey
-update my wii (NTSC)

....in order to play the most recent wii games (of my same region). both have not been updated since super smash brothers brawl first came out.

not asking for step by step instructions. just a hint in the right direction (link to a guide maybe?) would be appreciated.

I'm not too sure how current it is, but I remember the last thing I messed with was 1.9b and this one has a 1.9s.
