Set img to burn at 4x and got this error...

Looks like a bad disc (media).

Did you try burning more than one?

What did you use to dump your .iso?

I used rawdump. (4,699,979,776 bytes) exactly. They were ripped with a proper Lite-On drive. I tried multiple times just running it on a test mode because I didnt want to burn through all my discs. Every time failed with the same error. Maybe I should burn slower?

Im burning with a bluray drive if that makes a difference

Well, that's an interesting question about the Blu-ray burner. It is my understanding that there is a standard laser to write DVDs, but I don't know for sure.

Maybe someone using a Blu-ray burner will chime in.

Are they DATA DVD's or movies?

1. Wii discs are a "whole 'nother thing".
2. Wii drives can be very "picky" when it comes to media, etc.

The Only sure way is to try to run someone else's known working burned DVD on your Wii, and take your burned disc to someone elses modded Wii.

I haven't been able to burn any Wii games yet because I get that error from my first post, thus I cannot test anything. I plan on using a USB loader as soon as my HDD gets here, but I still want to be able to make a physical dvd backup.

Only my 5th post and I can contribute to this great site!

So I figured out the problem with my BD drive.

I had my 100GB HDD (Windows OS) and 2 1TB HDD (RAID 1) and my BD drive all running off of the same cable from the PSU.

Once I switched the BD drive over to using its own cable from the PSU it started working just fine.

Hope this can help someone!
