hi, im new to the wii and have tried to do this and failed lol, i have managed the 360 and xbox so kinda know what im doing! i have got the wads installed, wiigator, i have installed custom 249 or whatever it is lol but the games wont boot off, the originals boot through the laucher so i know its not the programs.
can someone pls send me the best and easiest way of doing this as all the guides are different and i cant find a decent one

I suggest starting over. You will need many cIOS for backups to work. If you have a NAND Backup you should install that (If you have bootmii as boot2 ONLY) & start using this guide:

Another thought is that your wii is newer & does not play backup discs. How old is your wii?
