Black screen on homebrew channel, please help!

Hey everybody, I recently installed the hbc on my wii but was unable to install any apps from it. (wads) I followed the procedure here: http://www.mydigitalpimp.com/2009/01/how...-from-33-or-34/ to downgrade my wii because I heard of the problem that you can't install apps with 3.4. When I got to the part of saying no to the wii shop channel my screen went black. I had to turn off and turn on the wii to get it to restart. Now when I go in the homebrew channel I just get a black screen. I've tried reinstalling using the banner method and no luck. Please help! I want to play my backups and homebrew! Thanks.
