I'm using 3.4E firmware, and had the HBC installed successfully and was working great. Now I've installed a modchip (D2C or something) before doing anything, and my Wii is 2 years old, and I installed HBC via Twilight hack.
But then I thought I wanted to downgrade the firmware, to be able to install wad goodies.
So I followed this damn guide (no offense):
And followed every step accurately, in te right order. Didn't screw up with anything.
After step 6 I think, there was an available update for HBC, and I chose to install it. And it did install with no errors.
At step 7, I did say yes to IOS51 and to patching, and as the guide said, no to Wiishop channel... And no response from either the controller or wii. The screen didn't change, I even waited for ten minutes.
So I thought it would be safe to restart. After I did restart, I tried to go in the HBC..... Black screen, nothing happens. HBC is in the Wii menu, but doesn't load.
Ive been googling and using best friend at afterdawn for hours, the search function, but, I couldn't find a similar problem. And thats why I'm posting.
