Are black wii's moddable or any different to do. I softmodded a white one with 4.3u last year and was wondering about the black ones. All the stuff I google is 2009 so that doesn't help. I would assume they are the same as the white one.

Black wii's are modded exactly the same as any other wii. The only thing to remember is that, like all wii's sold in the last year or so, they have the newest drive revision that means they cant read burned disks.

You can only play backup games on them through a USB loader.

yes they are the same as the white wii. Follow this guide to softmod it. 4.3 is still the latest firmware for wii
