I am new to homebrew hacking and have a 4.3 wii menu, I am using the smash stack guide with hackmii. It says that homebrew can be installed in Green Text, while it says bootmii can be only be istalled as an IOS in Pink Text insteed of boot2. Any help?

you have a wii with the fixed boot1. therefore bootmii IOS and priiloader is your only option for recovery.

4.3 doesn't allow boot2 installation altogether.

i have yet to see anyone unable to do a boot2 install on an older wii with exploitable boot1. wiibrew would have said something about it; they did mention bootmii IOS being uninstalled but nothing about boot2. even then, boot2v4 is still able to install boot2 bootmii.

Oh yeah I know that but what I meant was the newer model wiis can't do it. I myself have installed bootmii as boot2 on a 4.2 wii, but if he can't do it then his wii is a newer model. I must of misread the wiibrew page.
