sys menu 4.0 e
and hbc is one from hackmii2 installer
cios v14
1gb san disk sd card
i installed bootmii as boot2 = made a nand back up = BRILLIANT . but All it does when I try to load the hbc from bootmii is show a distorted version of the hbc ?Loading? screen and then freezes.
The only way I can load homebrew channel as normal via system menu which kind of defies having being able to boot any title deleter straight from hbc .or if i leave bootimii as i have bootmii configurater to auto load the system after 2 seconds . so at moment i can only use restore/backup nand option .
i have tried to re install hbc from hackmii installer and also tried insatlling ios60patched.wad didnt help . its only just from boot mii it will not load hbc directly
well if i boot hbc from bootmii with the sd card installed . it freezes on the hbc channel loading . but if i try boot hbc from bootmii without the sd card the tv stays on a black screen and dvdrom flashes blue light once.
so its obviously getting stuck at reading the sd card some how. i havent got alternative sd card to try. argh.. do i need some hbc file on my sd card or something?
i have just noticed, if i try loading channels from sd card from wii sys menu it will freeze with that sd card and i have to turn off/on my wii. but i tried using my other sd card from my digi card. it loaded it ok but obviously said cannot find any channels on my digital memory sd card . seems it might be sd card related.
I have another problem with bootmii, I checked around the forums and no-one seems to have the same problem so thought I'd post it.
I have 4.2E firmware and installed the HBC with bannerbomb using larryjle's guide. I have bootmii installed as an IOS.
I had to re-update my firmware in order to play a store bought wii sports resort, so I deleted the HBC from the channels list along with a backup loader and cfg usb loader, updated the wii, and reinstalled the HBC and bootmii with bannerbomb again. All of my other apps seem to be working fine, but when I try load boot mii from the HBC my tv loses signal from the wii, and my wii and gamecube controllers become unresponsive.
