hey all i just wanted to say i'm brand new to soft modding and need a guide please, i've been searching for about an hour but i really don't know where to start, my Wii is version 4.2U, i have a 4GB SD Card, now can someone direct me to a straight forward step by step guide or give me a step by step on what i need to do to go through the whole process of softmodding my Wii, thank you so much!
The guide is right on the front page, and I'm not sure how you missed it. But here's a link anyway. It looks a lot harder than it is. Just read carefully and take it one step at a time.

hey all, just started following that guide but a little stuck everythings been going smoothly no errors i just finished this step:
"Try to install Bootmii as Boot2 first. If it will not let you install it as Boot2 then install it as an IOS."
and that worked fine as boot2 said success twice so i exited the bootmii and it brings me to the homebrew channel and i'm not sure what to do from here cause the guide has the next step as BACK UP NAND (BOOTMII): but the screenshots in the guide don't look like the homebrew channel and it didn't tell me to restart my wii or anything so not exactly sure what to do next, i'm sorry if this is stupid or whatever but i just want to make sure to not kill my wii lol, so any guidance would be very very appreciated! thank you! and the next step is:
"Bootmii as Boot2 will boot menu when Wii is turned on. Navigate using a Gamecube Controller or Power Reset.
Bootmii as IOS will boot from Homebrew Channel Home button screen. Navigate using Game Cube Controller. If you do not have a Game Cube Controller then try using power/reset buttons to navigate the Bootmii menu. (if the power/reset button does not navigate the menu then you will need a Gamecube Controller)." and gives 2 screenshots that i don't see on my screen, thanks again
