so i just downloaded and burnt super mario galaxy burnt it at 1x speed with imgburn and it works in my soft modded wii but the game is mostly black and white with some faded colours here and there? what am i doing wrong do i need better quality blank DVD's? my current blanks are DVD-R and there memorex i believe, thanks

With whatever backup launcher your using, there is an option to force NTSC or PAL which customarily falls under Config Option. Select to force the video standard for your Wii.

hmmmm i'm using NeoGamma 7 and i can't seem to find where you need to set it to NTSC or PAL i see a spot where i can change the language which is set to Auto Force

nevermind i found it and set it to Wii and it looks beautiful now thanks so much!! sound is a bit laggy on cut scenes don't suppose anything can be done about that?

NeoGamma has the option to force video to NTSC.

There is not much you can do about that unless you produce your own dump. The cut scenes will be choppy. However, the game play should be smooth.

If you don't want lagging and choppy cut-scenes use a USB loader. Backup Disc Loaders only play at 3X speed instead of the normal 6x speed (it is a limitation in homebrew disc loaders).
