I soft modded my wii last year but couldn't get Call of Duty 3 to work past the load screen (it freezes there). No stress, I just didn't play it and was happy with what I had.
Now I followed the 'Previously Modded Guide' and updated to 4.1 with NeoGamma_R7 etc. but the game still freezes. I remember this being an issue on old forums but haven't been able to find them. Have I missed something or is it perhaps just a bad disc?

Google IOS version patcher and download the application.

Rip the game to an ISO (if you don't have a back up on PC) then drag the ISO into the IOSpatcher.exe file and it should load the game ISO in the program. When it ask what IOS to patch it to type 249. The game will now use IOS249. Now burn the game to disc and have fun playing.
