Can I replace a D3 with a D2C?

I have a D3 drive and I would like to know if I can replace the drive with a D2C or E? Thanks in advance.

Sure you can, all wii drives can be swapped between any chipset and region.

I'm not sure why you'd need to do this anymore though. There was a time when modchips were the only way to go and some drives were FAR harder to mod.

Now though any wii can be easily softmodded without having to disassemble it or buy any hardware at all.
