Can IOS's cause your wiimote not to sync in homebrew?

I did Pimp My Wii and installed all the neccessary IOS's that I was either missing or needed updating. But as soon as I returned to Homebrew, my wiimote stopped sync'n. I always have to go into a game and use another wiimote and sync both just to use the other one that didn't work in the first place after this ordeal.

Do I have too many IOS's installed? I left everything preset on Pimpmywii and installed everything it said I needed.

Or to make this a lot easier of a question.
Which IOS SCREWED UP MY WIIMOTE?!?

IOS cannot mess up your wiimote, you wiimote is a piece of hardware, not software. Something is wrong with the hardware, I don't know what, but the IOS shouldn't affect your working wiimote.
