I've been using USBLoader for a few months now with no issues, and recently brought my drive to a friends to use on his Wii for a bit (may be unrelated, but unsure). Now, when I reconnect the drive to my PC, it tells me that there is an error, and the drive may need to be reformatted. I'd like to avoid this if possible, as re-ripping all these games would be a very lengthy affair. The Wii still reads the drive fine and runs games off it, so I'm unsure what I can do. Advice?
If the drive is formatted with a WBFS filesystem then what you're experiencing is totally normal. To read a WBFS drive on windows you need to use WBFS Manager 3.0.

I should have mentioned, its WBFS manager that is giving me the error I listed.
I'm not sure what might be causing your error, but I would try reinstalling WBFS manager and, if that doesn't work, test the drive on another computer.

Upgraded from 2.5 to 3, and that solved it. Thanks!
