Ok, I now have Neogamma R6 and rev14 installed. When I start Wii Sports Resort it seems to start ok (green screen blinks) and then it goes back to the Wii menu. What should I do?
I have 4.0u, should I update to 4.1u? There is a warning about having unautorized files or something. It kind of got me worried so I just turned it off.
After some reading I updated my Wii to 4.1u. It all works the same (I was nervous, LOL). Now the Wii Sports Resort demo plays in the disk channel, so I thought for sure it would work now. But sadly it don't, it's still doing the same thing. Just as it seems to start the Wii reboots and it sends me back to the Wii Menu.
Do you think it could just be a bad download or maybe burn?
I had the same problem at the beginning. Thanks to Larry's guide and with some minor changes, I made it work. Here is how:
1. google and download WiiScrubber.
2. Execute WiiScrubber, open the iso file of wii sports resort.
3. go to Partion2-DATA> sys> mpls_movie> and save player.dol.
4. rename player.dol to RZTE.dol.
5. make a folder on your SD card, name it NeoGamma
6. place RZTE.dol in NeoGamma folder, I also placed boot.dol in it but am not sure if it is necessary.
7. start NeoGamma, enable boot alt_dol
8. now you should be able to view the intro movie.
9. after you watch the movie, disable boot alt_dol, the game part should load now.

Well, I got it to work. What I did was, I found out that one of my sons friends had a retail copy of the game so I asked him to bring it over. I put it in, watched the motion+ video, created a game save, pulled the disc out, put in my backup and it worked flawlessly.
I just hope I don't have to do this with all future games (Zedla, and New Super Mario)
