Can't play Zelda WW PAL on my softmodded NTSC Wii

The NTSC starcube release of this game freezes when you press the D-pad up in dungeons so I am trying to get one of the many PAL releases to work in hopes that it won't also freeze. It's a no go. I'm using softmodded 4.1u and neogamma beta 8 rev 15. Cios rev 14 and cmios rev. 3. Also using Ciosporp and preloader. .29
Any suggestions?

That is just an issue with Wind Waker. There is no fix for it except of course not to use dungeon maps.

Is it a problem with all releases of Wind Waker? I thought maybe it was just a problem with this specific dump. Since there are no other NTSC dumps and a ton of different PAL dumps, I though I might try a PAL dump. I can't get any PAL dumps to even load up though.
