Can't run the Conduit back up copy

I just updated to 4.0U and it won't run my back up copy of the Conduit.

All of my older games work (Mario Kart, SSBB, DBZ, MP3 etc), but when I run the Conduit, it says that an error has occurred with the disk and I should refer to the Wii troubleshooting manual. Any ideas why it won't run for me?

Runs fine for me on 4.0U using a Wiikey and 1.9s.

Bad burn or bad .iso perhaps?

Maybe. It's been doing that quite a lot lately. When I burn games such as Tales of Symphonia or Fire Emblem, it works for a few hours, then the disc starts messing up and giving me the error, and then I have to reburn it like 3 more times before it works again.

It used to work on my first try with everything, and I burn it at 1x speed with ImgBurn.
