Can you transfer games from one external drive to another?

I used this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-154/..._needed-822897/ to rip games to my external hard drive. If I get another ext. hard drive and prep it the same way I did the first one, can I transfer the games to it using my PC?

In other words: Have games on a 500 GB drive, want to use my 1 TB drive, can i transfer the games on the 500GB to the 1TB using my PC once the 1TB drive is prepped like the first one following the guide?
