Cannot install BootMii to boot2

My wii can only install it as an IOS. My wii is less than a year old. Is there any way which I can install it to boot2 for the ultimate brick protection. I currently have preloader 0.29 and can boot it up by holding the reset button when i power on. The wii is a version 4.0E from Australia.

if you can't do a boot2 install, then you have the new boot2 which doesn't allow bootmii to install. you're stuck.
